Does it Hurt?
The rapid heating of the wart to 42-45C can cause discomfort – for some it is a sharp sensation similar to an injection and for others it feels like they briefly touched something hot. The sensation only lasts for a few seconds. The temperature range is a few degrees warmer than a hot bath and will not cause any serious tissue damage or scarring.
