Achilles tendon pathology/pain is an area that requires specific diagnosis and exercise prescription for recovery. This can be a difficult condition to manage and we are happy to provide you with a thorough examination, treatment and rehabilitation program for this problem.

Principal Podiatrist: Rebecca Eakins

​Rebecca Eakins, a member of the Australian Podiatry Association, has a special interest in lower limb injuries, movement problems, foot and leg pain. A tailored management plan will be created according, to your diagnostic needs. This takes into account your pathology, sporting pursuits, lifestyle, pain levels and goals. In-depth analysis of your mechanics and 3D scanning technology are one of the tools we use in this process.

Rebecca completed a bachelor of health science (podiatry), with honours, and a bachelor of applied science (human movement studies) at Queensland University of Technology. She is is well equipped to listen, diagnose, and treat many lower limb conditions with the added benefit of exercise rehabilitation. Rebecca thoroughly enjoys meeting people.

Podiatrist: Rhianna Harris

Rhianna completed her podiatry study at Charles Sturt University and graduated with a Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine. Her outstanding academic performance throughout her studies earned her an Executive Graduate Dean’s Award at the completion of her studies, acknowledging her dedication and consistent academic achievement during her undergraduate degree.

Postgraduate Study in Diabetes Education and Management

Rhianna has advanced her professional clinical development by completing a Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education and Management, graduating with a Post Graduate Award in recognition of her consistent academic excellence. She is now a qualified Diabetes Educator, a credential that has significantly strengthened her clinical capability; particularly in the management, education, and support of individuals living with diabetes.

Her dual expertise in podiatry and diabetes education allows her to conduct comprehensive foot assessments, provide individualised education, and develop tailored prevention strategies to reduce the risk of foot complications. This holistic approach enhances patient outcomes, particularly in the prevention and management of diabetes foot ulcers, peripheral neuropathy, and vascular complications.

Ballet Background and Specialisation in Dance Podiatry

Rhianna’s interest in podiatry is deeply influenced by her lifelong love for classical ballet. She trained in Cecchetti Classical Ballet for over sixteen years, participating in workshops with renowned organisations such as Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance and The Australian Ballet Company.

Her background in dance inspired a professional interest in dance podiatry, with a particular focus on:

  • Pre-Pointe Assessments – ensuring dancers are physically prepared to transition safely onto pointe
  • Dance injury management and rehabilitation
  • Technique correction and injury prevention
  • Footwear and load management tailored to dancers

Rhianna enjoys supporting dancers of all levels to enhance performance, reduce injury risk, and return safely to training or performance following injury.

Onsite claiming available for all major health funds with Tyro; Medicare Easyclaim for (EPC) referrals (Please note we are not a bulk billing practice); Department of Vetern’s Affairs (DVA) requires a GP referral and Eftpos available onsite. We also work with services that provide Home Care packages (HCP) and NDIS packages. No referral is required, contact us for an appointment time.

With a second degree in human movement studies, keeping you moving well is our priority. We provide general foot care services. We also offer more specialist services in biomechanical assessment and orthotic prescription.
